Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify accuracy and compliance with electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards.
- Manage project contracts, change orders, and procurement processes utilizing systems like ProCore, Prolog, or HeavyBid for cost estimation and tracking.
- Oversee permitting phases by collaborating with local authorities to secure necessary approvals while ensuring all work complies with electrical building codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct construction site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, safety protocols, and adherence to design specifications.
- Lead project meetings focusing on schedule coordination, risk mitigation, cost management, and team communication to keep projects on track.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects within industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, system design, and electrical blueprint reading.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Prolog, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and scheduling software.
- Familiarity with construction estimating methods including HeavyBid or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of electrical codes including NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 compliance requirements.
- Experience in construction management from permitting through commissioning phases with involvement in the permitting process.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards.

- Strong organizational skills for cost management, project budgeting, contract administration, and documentation control.
