Looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in industrial or commercial construction, field leadership, subcontractor coordination, and safety management. This individual should be capable of independently managing day-to-day field operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within quality standards, and in accordance with company and client expectations.
The ideal candidate has:
- 5 years of construction superintendent or field supervision experience
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and civil trades
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety programs, and jobsite hazard mitigation
- Experience maintaining project schedules, identifying delays, and implementing recovery plans
- Experience overseeing equipment installations, material deliveries, and workforce coordination
- Experience conducting quality inspections, managing punch lists, and ensuring work meets project specifications
- Proven ability to lead crews in fast-paced industrial or commercial construction environments
- Experience coordinating with owners, general contractors, vendors, inspectors, and project management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor foremen, resolve conflicts, and maintain accountability across multiple crews
Technical Skills:
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- OSHA safety standards, fall protection, confined space, lockout/tagout, and crane/lift safety
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Construction scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar preferred)
- Daily field reporting, documentation, and progress tracking
- Material management, equipment coordination, and delivery verification
