Role Description
Human Resources Payroll Coordinator (Full-Time)
Location: Hybrid (Pittsburgh, PA area)
Compensation: $40,000–$55,000 annually
What we are looking for
- Experienced Payroll professional with a strong background in payroll administration, processing, adjustments, wage garnishments, and an understanding of HR and employee support. Must have experience working within human resources information systems, preferably UKG, and skilled in processing accurate and timely payroll, managing employee records, maintaining compliance, and supporting day-to-day human resources functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process biweekly/semi-monthly payroll accurately using UKG Ready
- Manage employee timekeeping, payroll adjustments. retro pay, garnishments, bonuses, incentive pay, and other payroll situations
- Maintain payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and tax-related updates
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee record administration
- Assist employees with payroll, benefits, and HR-related inquiries
- Generate payroll and HR reports for audits and leadership review
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations
- Collaborate with management to support HR operations and employee relations
- Assist with benefits administration and HR documentation
- Employee Engagement including recognition, monthly/quarterly newsletters, determining employee of the month, etc.
- Recruiting Assistance including job postings, onboarding, adding and removing access, etc.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Payroll Administration, including handling payroll systems and processing accurate employee payments
- Experience with managing garnishments, payroll adjustments, etc. to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in relevant payroll and accounting software systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data with integrity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
