Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate donors.
- Develop clear, persuasive grant proposals and applications that align with funder priorities and organizational goals.
- Manage grant contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations through effective contract management practices.
- Track funding opportunities, submissions, and reporting deadlines.
- Write detailed financial reports, program summaries, and progress updates to demonstrate accountability and outcomes to funders.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposals, reports, and strategic planning efforts.
- Proofread, edit, and refine all written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism before submission.
Qualifications
- Experience in grant proposal writing, technical writing, and/or fundraising strategies.
- Strong research skills with the ability to identify suitable funding opportunities.
- Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for editing and proofreading.
- Superior communication skills to work with funders, partners, government agencies, and contracts personnel.
- Knowledge of contracts management, budgeting, and financial reports.
- Ability to develop programs strategically in alignment with organizational goals through strategic planning expertise.
- Experience in contract management, proposal development, and program development is highly desirable.
