Are you a strategic finance professional ready to own the FP&A function at a growing healthcare company? Our client is seeking an FP&A Manager to bring structure, rigor, and strategic insight to their finance function. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytical depth and business partnership, you'll work closely with executive leadership and operational teams to drive forecasting, planning, and the financial story behind the business. The role is hybrid in East Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts, partnering with department leaders to build accurate, forward-looking financial plans that reflect the realities of a complex healthcare environment.
- Financial Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models including 3-statement models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses that support strategic decision-making at the executive level.
- Reporting & Variance Analysis: Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting packages and variance analyses, translating the numbers into clear narratives that drive action across the business.
- Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted finance partner to operational and clinical teams, helping them understand their financials and make better, faster decisions.
- Strategic Planning: Support long-range planning, KPI development, and ad hoc strategic initiatives, bringing analytical rigor and a big-picture perspective to every conversation.
- Process & Systems Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine FP&A processes, tools, and reporting infrastructure to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability as the organization grows.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or consulting. Healthcare or similarly complex, regulated industry experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Technical Skills: Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills including 3-statement models. Strong understanding of accounting principles and how they integrate with healthcare financial operations.
