Industrial Facilities Maintenance Manager
High-tech leading manufacturer is in search of an Industrial Facilities Maintenance Manager responsible for ensuring the overall reliability and safety of the facilities production and automation equipment / systems. In this role you’ll plan and supervise the preventative and corrective maintenance operations on facility equipment while serving as the maintenance team’s leader, trainer and mentor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
- Ensure reliable operation of all facilities as well as full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Proper documentation of all maintenance activities, inspections and interventions
- Communicate maintenance work to appropriate associates
- Report on KPIs, major incidents, and investment requirements providing data-driven analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Identify, evaluate and implement technical solutions to enhance facility performance, reliability, and safety while optimizing maintenance processes
- Reducing servicing costs while optimizing efficiency
- Build, train and supervise maintenance team associates
- Primary point of contact for all employees regarding maintenance and servicing matters
Your profile:
- Strong background working to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic equipment / systems within a heavy industrial manufacturing setting
- Welding and steel/metal fabrication skills a plus
- Strong attention to detail and emphasis on quality and safety protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal/external customers in a multi-cultural culture
- Ability to manage priorities in order to ensure production continuity
- Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing background
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 4-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or related strongly preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing industrial maintenance teams working within an industrial manufacturing setting required
- Success in optimizing maintenance operations with an emphasis on safety
- Strong working knowledge in lean manufacturing principles, 5S and/or continuous improvement strongly preferred
- Leadership experience hiring key positions, training, motivating, mentoring and developing industrial maintenance team members
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficient use of inventory management and/or ERP software
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a cross-cultural team environment
- Ability to travel internationally per business need for training and skill development
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
