Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic electrical construction management team. Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating electrical project activities from pre‑construction through closeout
- Prepare and review RFIs, submittals, compliance documents, and vendor quotes
- Support development of project budgets, cost tracking, and change order documentation
- Coordinate material procurement, stock lists, and supplier comparisons
- Maintain project documentation including drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and logs
- Communicate with general contractors, vendors, inspectors, and field teams
- Track progress, identify issues, and support solutions to maintain schedule and quality
- Assist with jobsite visits, punch lists, and project turnover requirements
Requirements
- Experience in electrical contracting, construction management, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and construction processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with construction software a plus, Google Workspace applications
- Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and technical documents
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites as needed
- Electrical Construction Experience a plus
- Prior project management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Procore, Conest, and Job Track a plus
