Position Summary
The Energy Efficiency Educator is responsible for engaging homeowners through outbound communication and in-person presentations to promote participation in energy efficiency programs. This role focuses on educating customers, clearly presenting program benefits, and guiding them through the enrollment process.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound phone outreach using company-provided, qualified leads
- Deliver clear, engaging presentations to homeowners explaining program benefits, eligibility, and enrollment steps
- Build rapport and trust with homeowners through effective communication and professionalism
- Guide customers through the enrollment process, ensuring accuracy and completion
- Utilize company technology (iPad, laptop, and enrollment platforms) to present materials and register participants
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions and enrollments
- Travel to designated program areas to conduct presentations and outreach as required
- Represent the company and its programs professionally at all times
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer experience
- Meet or exceed individual performance goals, including enrollment targets and conversion rates
Qualifications
- Required:
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Preferred:
- Experience in sales, communications, public relations, marketing, or customer engagement
- Prior experience with presentations, public speaking, or customer-facing roles

Work Environment & Travel Requirements

- Overnight travel expected approximately 3–4 nights per week

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings when necessary
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly base pay plus uncapped commission and bonus incentives
- Weekly payroll, paid one week in arrears
