Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Employee Shuttle Supervisor to oversee daily shuttle operations, ensuring efficient vehicle dispatching, route management, and excellent customer service. This role involves coordinating transportation logistics, managing communication systems, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations to support our team and passengers effectively. Must have a Class B with Passenger Endorsement, 2 years driving and supervisor experience, clear background and driving record.
Duties
- Supervise shuttle drivers and coordinate vehicle dispatching using transportation management systems and vehicle dispatch software
- Monitor shuttle routes via GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Manage internal communication channels to relay updates and address operational issues promptly
- Oversee scheduling, routing, and fleet management to optimize shuttle services across multiple locations
- Handle customer inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards during all operations
- Maintain accurate data entry records related to shuttle schedules, driver logs, and incident reports
Qualifications
- Proven experience in transportation planning, logistics, or fleet management preferred
- Strong knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), GPS technology, and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for phone call management, internal coordination, and customer service interactions
- Familiarity with road transportation operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and freight handling practices
- Ability to analyze operational data for continuous improvement opportunities
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to shuttle services and vehicle safety standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for reporting and documentation purposes
