Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults or inefficiencies within complex electrical systems.
- Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely on industrial equipment and infrastructure, following strict electrical safety procedures.
- Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage control systems critical for automation processes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems on construction sites or during renovation projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics with precision.
- Experience working with high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage control systems in industrial environments.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable.
- Construction site experience including renovation projects is preferred.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by state or local regulations is necessary.
- Strong commitment to electrical safety procedures and compliance with all safety standards during work activities.
