Summary
As the Director of Nursing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing nursing operations across our skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. This leadership position is essential for ensuring high-quality patient care and fostering an environment that prioritizes the well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans for residents.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and resident rights.
- Provide mentorship and training for nursing staff to enhance their skills and professional development.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for nursing operations.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license; BSN preferred.
- Proven experience in nursing administration, particularly in skilled nursing or assisted living settings.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and resident rights is essential.
- Experience in hospice or home care settings is a plus.
