A growing financial services organization is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead a high-impact accounting function supporting continued U.S. expansion. This is a hands-on leadership role with visibility across senior finance and underwriting leadership, offering the opportunity to oversee reporting, planning, audits, and team development in a dynamic growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the full accounting function, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Oversee financial reporting across IFRS and U.S. Statutory standards
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis for senior leadership
• Manage internal and external audits, statutory filings, and capital-related requirements
• Strengthen internal controls, processes, systems, and workflows
• Mentor and develop a six-person accounting team
Qualifications:
• 7 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
• CPA strongly preferred, with public accounting or blended public/private experience welcomed
• Prior team management experience required
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with systems such as NetSuite and Power BI is a plus
Salary : $170,000 - $175,000
