What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Confidential?
Join a Different Kind of Dental Practice
Our Fee-for-Service practice is a small, boutique, concierge-style private dental office where exceptional dentistry and exceptional hospitality go hand in hand.
We are looking for an experienced dental team member who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things exceptionally well, and wants to be part of a truly collaborative practice.
This is a unique, cross-trained opportunity for a dental professional who enjoys both clinical care and the patient experience.
Our practice is intentionally structured so that our team members are cross-trained in both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Rather than having separate departments where everyone stays in their own lane, our team works together to provide a seamless experience for our guests from the moment they contact us through the completion of their care.
What Makes This Position Different?
You may be assisting with a cosmetic procedure in the morning, helping coordinate a patient's treatment plan later that day, answering a phone call, responding to a new-patient inquiry, helping maintain the schedule, or submitting an electronic insurance claim.
We are looking for someone who enjoys that variety—not someone who wants to be limited to one role.
Because we are a small practice, every team member has an important role in keeping the office running smoothly. You will have the opportunity to develop a broader understanding of dentistry, patient care, practice operations, and the complete patient experience.

Clinical / Back Office
- Assist the doctors with a wide range of general, cosmetic, restorative, and advanced dental procedures

Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has dental assisting experience
- Holds a California X-Ray License
- Is comfortable working both chairside and with patients at the front desk
- Enjoys interacting with people and building genuine relationships
- Is confident communicating by phone, text, email, and in person
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Is comfortable learning new technology and digital systems
- Can move comfortably between clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
- Understands that the small details matter in a high-touch practice
- Works well in a close-knit team where everyone contributes
RDA is a plus, but attitude, versatility, communication skills, and the desire to grow with our practice are equally important.
Our Practice
We are intentionally different from a high-volume dental office.
Our practice is built around quality rather than quantity, with an emphasis on personalized care, long-term relationships, advanced technology, and a comfortable, hospitality-focused environment.
Our team works with modern digital dentistry, including CAD/CAM workflows, digital scanning, 3D printing, cosmetic dentistry, Clear Aligner orthodontics, advanced restorative procedures, and other contemporary dental technologies.
You will work directly alongside the doctors in a small, collaborative environment where your contribution is noticed and valued.
