A growing organization is seeking an experienced Contract Analyst to support its Legal function by managing and optimizing a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform while ensuring contracts are compliant, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. This role serves as a key bridge between Legal, Finance, and Business Operations, driving technology-enabled contract workflows from intake through execution, tracking, and renewal.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional owner and subject matter expert for the CLM platform, supporting users and driving adoption across the organization
- Administer the CLM system, including user access, permissions, workflow configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements
- Design and implement automated contract workflows based on risk, value, and approval requirements
- Maintain and manage contract templates and standardized clause libraries
- Build and deliver dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as contract cycle time, approvals, renewals, and compliance
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle, ensuring accurate tracking of key dates, execution status, and obligations
- Review, draft, and edit a variety of agreements (e.g., MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and client contracts)
- Partner with Legal and business stakeholders to negotiate terms and mitigate legal and financial risks
- Provide training and ongoing support to internal teams on CLM tools and contract best practices
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce contract turnaround times
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8 years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, or paralegal work
- Hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms (e.g., Ironclad, Conga, Summize, Onit)
- Experience building workflows, reports, and dashboards within a CLM system
- Strong knowledge of contract types including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and commercial agreements
- Proven ability to collaborate across Legal, Finance, and business teams
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
