The Opportunity
Are you a natural connector who isn't afraid to get your boots muddy? We are looking for a high-energy Business Development Representative to expand our footprint across Central and Northern Maine. You won’t be stuck behind a desk—you’ll be on-site at construction projects in Augusta, visiting manufacturing plants in Bangor, and partnering with industrial leaders in "The County."
What You’ll Do
- Hunt & Close: Proactively identify and engage with construction firms, warehouse managers, and manufacturing plants to provide workforce solutions.
- Regional Strategy: Manage a large, diverse territory covering the I-95 corridor through Bangor and up to Presque Isle.
- Relationship Management: Transition from "cold caller" to "trusted partner" by understanding the seasonal and project-based needs of Maine’s blue-collar industries.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our recruiting team to ensure the "order" you sell can be filled with high-quality local talent.
What We’re Looking For
- Local Grit: You understand the Maine work ethic and can talk shop with a site foreman or a plant manager.
- Sales DNA: 2 years of B2B sales experience (staffing, industrial supply, or construction services experience is a massive plus).
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel the region extensively.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to maintain a CRM while on the go.
