Andalusia, Alabama CPA firm is seeking resumes for an experienced bookkeeper.
Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate will possess good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. This position also requires a skilled multi-tasker who is reliable and committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Responsibilities of this position include balancing and maintaining accurate general ledgers, writing payroll checks and preparing monthly sales tax returns, quarterly payroll tax returns, and annual ad valorem property tax returns, as well as other returns as needed. Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products and QuickBooks is a plus.
This position will require some over-time and weekends during peak seasons. A successful candidate will possess a two-year accounting degree and at least one year of bookkeeping experience. This position offers a competitive hourly wage, dependent on experience and the following benefit package:
