Position Summary
We are seeking a Benefits Service Support to join our growing health insurance brokerage. This is an entry‑level role ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, client‑focused, and interested in building a career in employee benefits and health insurance. You’ll support our service team with daily benefits administration tasks and help ensure a smooth experience for our clients. This position is part‑time year‑round, with the opportunity for additional hours during peak periods, including the fourth quarter (Q4).
Key Responsibilities
- Support account managers and team members with client service work
- Assist with enrollments, terminations, and benefit changes
- Prepare materials for open enrollment and client meetings
- Schedule client appointments during Q4 open enrollment
- Review and process applications, forms, and documentation
- Maintain accurate client records in agency systems
- Track and follow up on pending items
- Provide administrative and office support
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of health insurance or willingness to learn
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Clear communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Preferred
- California Life and Health Insurance License or willingness to obtain
- Experience in a health insurance agency or brokerage
- Customer service or administrative experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
