Our Agency is looking for a Behavioral Health Business Manager to lead and scale
the business and operational performance of our behavioral health programs. This is a
high impact leadership role for an operator who thrives in fast growing, mission driven

What You’ll Lead
Operational & Business Performance
- Oversee the development of the next-generation health care delivery system for the IDD population served by Our Agency.
- Develop training and communications systems to convey behavioral plans and data between providers and front-line staff.
- Implement coordinated care models across in-house and outside providers.
- Develop predictive models to learn from incidents and train staff to avoid triggers.
- Develop a billable model for service delivery.
- Own the financial performance of the behavioral health revenue cycle, including
billing, collections, cash posting, and reimbursement optimization.
- Lead scheduling, registration, medical records, financial counseling, and
administrative workflows to ensure seamless patient access and retention.
- Build and refine operational systems that support growth, efficiency, and clinical
excellence.
- Implement data driven strategies to improve KPIs, reduce leakage, and
strengthen patient engagement.
Growth, Strategy & Cross Functional Leadership
- Partner with clinical leaders, payers, and community stakeholders to support
program expansion and service line growth.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions that support
multisite performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, compliance, and
financial outcomes.
- Support payer and referral source relationships to strengthen market presence
and access.
Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Develop and lead a high performing administrative and operational team.
- Coach staff into growth roles and build a culture of accountability, service
excellence, and operational discipline.
- Conduct performance reviews, set clear expectations, and ensure alignment with
organizational goals.
Compliance, Quality & Patient Experience
- Improved communication between disciplines
- Reduced instances of crisis
- Improved financial performance
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and all state and federal
regulations.
- Maintain audit ready documentation and operational standards.
- Resolve patient concerns with urgency and empathy, implementing process
improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate staff meetings, communications, and operational readiness for
internal and external stakeholders.
What You Bring
- 4 years in a healthcare, behavioral health, or medical office environment.
- 3 years of supervisory or management experience; multisite or cross functional
leadership preferred.
- Experience with revenue cycle, business operations, or P&L related
responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration,
- Accounting, or related field preferred.
- A leadership style that blends operational rigor with mission driven service.
