Job Overview
Looking for a Car Dealership Photographer to photograph our vehicle inventory and create high-quality visual content for our dealership website, third-party automotive listings, and social media channels.
The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, enjoys working around cars, and can consistently produce clean, professional vehicle photos. This position is hands-on and fast-paced, with a strong focus on keeping our online inventory accurate, attractive, and up to date.
Photographer Responsibilities
- Photograph new and used vehicles for online inventory listings
- Capture high-quality exterior, interior, and detail photos of each vehicle
- Follow dealership photography standards to ensure consistent lighting, angles, backgrounds, and image quality
- Upload and organize vehicle photos on the dealership's website and inventory management systems
- Upload and publish photos and content to social media platforms
- Ensure every vehicle has a complete and accurate set of photos before being advertised online
- Edit, crop, resize, and organize photos as needed
- Photograph vehicles as they arrive on the lot and prioritize inventory that needs to be published quickly
- Maintain an organized workflow so photos are uploaded promptly and accurately
- Work closely with the sales, internet, and marketing teams
- Help create additional automotive content for Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms
- Maintain photography equipment and keep the photo area clean and organized
Qualifications
- Photography experience preferred; automotive photography experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for composition
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working around high-end vehicles and moving inventory around a dealership lot
- Basic knowledge of photo editing software or mobile photo editing tools
- Comfortable using computers, websites, and digital platforms
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple vehicles throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

What You'll Do Every Day
Your primary responsibility will be to make sure our vehicles look their best online. You'll photograph vehicles as they arrive, process the images, and upload them to our dealership website and online inventory. You'll also use those photos to help create engaging social media content.
