A high volume dealership (400 units and growing!) is looking for an Automotive Controller to join our team! Dealership will pay for relocation expenses.
Automotive Experience is Required
This person will oversee all of the dealership’s day-to-day accounting operations while leading and managing a small team of personnel.
The right candidate will possess the following qualities:
All candidates must have an Automotive Accounting background with in-depth experience in all aspects of retail accounting including receivables, payables, schedules, payroll, account analysis, manufacture incentives, journal entries and monthly closings. Must know dealership processes and interworkings of the Sales, Service, & Parts departments.
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the DMS Systems
- Strong people skills
- Accounting Degree preferred but not required
- PC skills including Excel and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced
- Import experience is preferred, Lexus, BMW, Hyundai/Kia
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the dealership
- Prepare financial statements
- Develop and maintain effective cash management system
- Reconcile monthly bank and inventory statements
- Audit balance sheets and schedules regularly and address any possible liabilities or concerns
- Handle receivable/payables to and from 3rd party vendors
- Assist operations with dealership forecasting and budgeting
- Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
