What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architect position at Confidential?
We build animal enclosures, cages and metal structures. Individuals in this position spend their time working on construction drawings under little to no supervision. They will also be required to conduct on-site assessments, as needed. Traveling to project sites will be required. Field documentation experience is expected. Active architectural license in the State of Florida is Required.
The job duties of this position are:
- Meet with architects and contractors that typically specify and buy the products we specialize in to identify upcoming project to track and position us properly for successful bidding.
- Prepare shop drawings using Autodesk Revit
The ideal candidate will be outgoing and self-motivated, will have an understanding of architecture and architectural materials, will have worked in the construction industry for at least 5 years. This person will have ability to read architectural drawings and perform take offs. This person will have a history of successful sales, architectural design and project management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience as an architect
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Knowledge of 3D modeling
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Business development skills to attract new clients and projects
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate construction documents

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
