Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues by interpreting schematics and technical manuals with precision.
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems.
- Install new appliances safely and efficiently, ensuring proper setup and operation.
- Conduct routine maintenance and equipment repairs to extend appliance lifespan.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips.
- Utilize your mechanical knowledge to assemble appliances or replace faulty components accurately.
- Operate box trucks or delivery vehicles to transport appliances between locations when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician within a field service environment.
- Strong electrical experience coupled with mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams effectively.
- Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC is highly desirable.
- Prior delivery driver experience using box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
