Overview

Command Logistic Services is seeking an experienced, hands-on 3PL Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and the ability to manage multiple customer accounts while ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and on-time order fulfillment.

This position requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage warehouse personnel, prioritize daily workloads, resolve operational challenges, and maintain high standards of productivity, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and material handling.
• Direct warehouse personnel, assign daily workloads, monitor productivity, and ensure operational deadlines are met.
• Oversee inbound container receiving, unloading, outbound shipments, and carrier coordination.
• Manage multiple customer accounts while ensuring customer-specific requirements and shipping deadlines are consistently met.
• Monitor warehouse workflow and identify opportunities to improve productivity, accuracy, and labor efficiency.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology to ensure accurate inventory movements and order processing.
• Oversee value-added services (VAS), including labeling, ticketing, repacking, and special projects.
• Coordinate with customer service and management to resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and operational challenges.
• Monitor employee attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Train, coach, and hold warehouse personnel accountable for productivity, accuracy, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.
• Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries to minimize delays and maintain shipping schedules.
• Provide daily operational updates, productivity reports, and communicate any issues requiring management attention.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse processes and maximize operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably within a third-party logistics (3PL) environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse receiving, shipping, inventory management, and distribution operations.
• Experience managing warehouse personnel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with retail distribution, EDI orders, routing requirements, and retailer compliance is preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and make operational decisions independently.
• Experience monitoring labor productivity and implementing process improvements.
• Knowledge of OSHA warehouse safety standards and material handling equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor, managing teams, maintaining accountability, and ensuring customer commitments are met.

Prior experience in a 3PL warehouse environment is strongly preferred.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
