Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full event lifecycle from initial inquiry through site tours, tastings, proposal development, contract negotiation, and post-event follow-up.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline via outbound prospecting, corporate outreach, networking, and partnership development.
- Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, front-of-house, bar, and support teams.
- Lead on-site event execution, managing timelines, logistics, staffing, and guest experience for seamless, high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate both on-premise private dining and off-site catering events, including equipment, transportation, and vendor management.
- Track and optimize key performance metrics: conversion rates, average event spend, lead sources, and revenue goals.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Pipedrive experience preferred) to support forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Conduct post-event recaps, collect client feedback, and nurture relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven experience in events, catering, private dining, hospitality sales, or related sales roles.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to build rapport, negotiate, and consistently close business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for compelling proposals, client presentations, and team coordination.
- Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities to handle multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during live events.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CRM systems (Pipedrive strongly preferred) and POS platforms such as OpenTable or Toast.
- Background in outbound sales, corporate event planning, or partnership development.
- Conversational Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of Mediterranean food, and wine culture.
- Established network of event planners, corporate buyers, or hospitality vendors.
