What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Preservation Specialist position at Confidential - Property Preservation Contractor?
An established Property Preservation Contractor has an immediate need for a self-motivated, experienced and reliable individual to manage its Pittsburgh based operations. Our main office is located out of state and most communication will be done via email, text and on the telephone daily.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all work order items per specifications and meet all deadlines and budget restrictions
- Take complete, detailed photographs documenting all work performed and all bids placed
- Build and manage the crew needed to complete the assigned work following all company policies and procedures, on schedule and per client requirements, and to company quality standards
- Upload photographs and paperwork to processor via mobile phone or other device per required deadlines
Property Preservation includes, but is not limited to:
Securing the property including installing new door locks
Boarding windows and doors
Winterization of all plumbing and fixtures
Minor property repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting, roof leak repair, etc
Janitorial services
Debris/trash removal
Fence repair
Sealing foundation cracks and repointing brick
Recurring grass cuts and snow removal
Trimming trees, weed/vine removal
Mold abatement/remediation
Purchasing materials and supplies needed for work order (using company account)
Requirements:
Must have good communication skills, be detail oriented and able to follow work order instructions
Must have the ability to work with other team members, including remotely
Smartphone for communication and photographs
Valid driver's license with good driving record
Aspen Background Check - IC01 rating
Periodic negative drug test results
Company will provide equipment, tools and a truck
Pay:
- Commensurate with experience and skills.
- Minimum base $50,000
- Discretionary bonuses paid based on company and individual performance
Education:
- High school or equivalent
Experience:
- Property maintenance and home repairs - 5 years (preferred)
Work Location:
- Pittsburgh area preferred. Travel required via company vehicle to multiple locations in western PA, OH and WV
