Supply Chain Manager

Growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead production scheduling, inventory control, procurement, warehousing, and continuous improvement activities across multiple operations. This position reports directly to the General Manager and plays a key role in ensuring customer requirements are met while driving efficiency and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels to support customer demand and production requirements
• Schedule plant production and coordinate delivery timelines
• Lead shipping and receiving personnel and organize resources as needed
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost and service
• Maintain purchase orders, contracts, quotes, and supplier records
• Oversee multiple warehouse locations
• Manage customer orders, EDI transactions, order confirmations, and shipping updates
• Ensure on-time shipments and excellent customer service
• Develop work instructions and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support safety, quality, and environmental programs
• Perform internal audits and maintain compliance requirements

Qualifications

✔ Supply chain, purchasing, inventory, or production planning experience in a manufacturing environment

✔ Experience negotiating pricing, contracts, and supplier relationships

✔ Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, warehousing, and production scheduling

✔ Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams

✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools

✔ Experience with ERP systems and EDI processes preferred

✔ Continuous improvement mindset with strong organizational skills
