Senior Accountant | Manufacturing
Seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing manufacturing operation.
This is a hands-on plant accounting role for someone who enjoys being close to the operation and wants to have a real impact beyond just producing financial statements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the month-end close and financial reporting process
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Develop and track operational KPIs including scrap, efficiency, and productivity
- Support inventory, physical counts, fixed assets, and capital projects
- Maintain strong internal controls and support internal/external audits
- Partner directly with plant leadership and operations
- Spend time on the manufacturing floor understanding how operational activity impacts financial performance
What we’re looking for:
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 3 years of accounting experience within manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Strong month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with a manufacturing ERP such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar
- Working knowledge of IFRS and internal controls
- CPA or progress toward a professional accounting designation is preferred
