What You’ll Do
As a Senior Accountant, you will take the lead on complex accounting and tax engagements, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of all work products. You will serve as a trusted technical resource for the team, applying your advanced accounting and tax knowledge to resolve challenges, guide decision‑making, and uphold firm standards. You will mentor and support staff, helping develop their technical skills and professional growth. You will also play a key role in strengthening internal processes, enhancing workflow efficiency, and contributing to leadership initiatives that drive continuous improvement across the firm.
Advanced Accounting & Tax
- You will oversee complex accounting matters, month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- You will prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure completeness and compliance.
- You will prepare and review advanced individual and business tax returns across a variety of entity types.
- You will lead GAAP and tax research on complex issues and apply findings to client‑specific situations.
- You will support advanced tax planning initiatives and provide strategic advisory guidance.
Client Leadership
- You will serve as a trusted advisor for clients, acting as a primary point of contact for complex questions and issues.
- You will proactively identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements that benefit client operations and financial outcomes.
- You will communicate complex accounting and tax matters in a clear, professional, and client‑friendly manner.
Team Leadership & Quality Control
- You will review work prepared by Staff Accountants and other Senior Accountants to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- You will provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to strengthen team skills and capabilities.
- You will ensure the team’s adherence to firm standards, policies, and deadlines.
- You will assist with the onboarding and training of new team members to support smooth integration into the firm.
Process Improvement
- You will identify opportunities to streamline and enhance accounting and tax workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy.
- You will contribute to developing documentation, standardized procedures, and best practices.
- You will support leadership on special projects and firm‑wide initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
- 5 years of progressive accounting and tax experience, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility.
Certifications
- Active CPA license required.
Technical Skills
- Strong, up‑to‑date technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting and tax software, along with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated track record of mentoring and developing team members.

Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
