The Role
We're looking for a Director of Preconstruction to lead our preconstruction team and own the pricing and assembly of bids.
What You'll Do
- Lead, manage, and expand the preconstruction team — including hiring, developing, and mentoring estimators as our pipeline grows
- Own the full preconstruction lifecycle
- Partner with sales throughout pursuit and closing
- Personally price complex jobs end-to-end while managing team workload and bid assignments across a high-volume pipeline
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Build complete estimates
- Develop creative alternates and value-engineering options that win work without giving away margin
What You Bring
- 10 years of preconstruction/estimating experience high-rise experience required
- Glass or Metal experience preferred.
