My client is a leading manufacturer in the Building Materials industry and looking for a Sales Director. This position will be responsible for the strategic positioning and growth of this Building Products Division. This person will work with the VP Sales and Marketing to develop effective sales and marketing strategies for this entire product line.
Some of the duties of this role will be:
- Increase sales with existing customers and distributors
- Working with Business Develpment Manager to expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research regarding new product development opportunities.
- Research and develop marketing programs to support sales efforts and grow the brand awareness.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the Building Materials industry (decking, doors, flooring, siding, insulation, walls, etc.)
- Must have experience dealing with Distribution.
- Some management experience, will manage a team of 5.
- Willing to travel nationally (50-75% travel)
