A rapidly growing technology company is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. The organization is expanding quickly and building out its accounting infrastructure to support continued growth.
This role will support core accounting operations and work closely with leadership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to contribute across multiple areas of the finance function as the company continues to scale.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Assist with the monthly and year-end close process
- Help manage accounts payable activities including vendor invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders
- Support billing, collections, and payment application within the accounts receivable function
- Track and maintain financial data to support revenue recognition and reporting requirements
- Work within financial systems and ERPs to process transactions and generate reporting insights
- Maintain organized documentation to support audits and financial reviews
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal accounting procedures and controls
What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3 years of accounting experience, ideally including time in public accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals
- Experience working with accounting systems and financial tools
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable working fully onsite in Playa Vista
