Retail Pricing Specialist

Job Summary

The Omni Channel Pricing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely execution of permanent and promotional pricing across retail and eCommerce channels. This position serves as a key resource for pricing analysis, promotional execution, and troubleshooting, working cross-functionally with merchandising, price strategy, eCommerce, marketing, store operations, signage, communications, and technology teams. The role analyzes pricing and promotional activity, executes complex promotions and coupons, and investigates and resolves pricing issues across store and online environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze submitted promotions and pricing for compliance with established pricing standards and proactively resolve discrepancies with appropriate business partners.
• Review promotional exclusions, styles, vendors, and disclaimers and work with merchandising partners to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate alignment and approval with merchandising leadership on pricing and promotional changes.
• Analyze weekly pricing conflicts and validation results to identify and resolve issues before execution.
• Monitor reported store and online pricing issues and respond promptly to problems.
• Perform root cause analysis on pricing issues and identify appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate issue resolution across merchandising, signage, technology, marketing, eCommerce, and store teams.
• Monitor recurring issues to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Coordinate, build, test, and execute complex promotions within eCommerce toolsets.
• Build clearance promotions according to established program standards across applicable retail banners.
• Execute and maintain configurations and settings within price-change tools.
• Build and test outbound coupons for both retail stores and eCommerce.
• Review and resolve print and web promotions associated with Black Friday and Cyber Monday, including in-store validation and Cyber 5 preview-environment validation.
• Communicate the downstream impact of strategic pricing and promotional changes to business partners.
• Counsel and train merchandising partners on pricing and promotional execution best practices.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–3 years of retail experience required.
• Experience supporting pricing, promotions, merchandising, eCommerce, or closely related retail processes consistent with the responsibilities of the position.
