A U.S.-based immigration law practice is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to manage employment-based immigration matters. This is a fully remote, full-time position aligned with U.S. Central Time (CST) business hours. The role focuses primarily on EB-3 immigrant visas and L-1 intracompany transfer visas, with exposure to additional employment-based and nonimmigrant visa categories.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Fully remote position (U.S.-based only).
- Standard full-time schedule aligned with CST business hours.
- Independent caseload management with collaborative support as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage EB-3 green card cases, including PERM coordination, I-140 filings, and consular processing or adjustment of status (AOS).
- Prepare and file L-1A and L-1B petitions, including extensions.
- Assist with other employment-based and nonimmigrant visa matters (H-1B, TN, O-1, E visas, etc.).
- Draft detailed legal support letters and responses to RFEs and NOIDs.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, timelines, and documentation.
- Track and manage case deadlines to ensure timely and accurate filings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Active U.S. bar license in good standing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience practicing U.S. immigration law.
- Demonstrated experience with EB-3 and L-1 visa matters.
- Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload in a remote environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Competitive salary: US$120,000 – US$140,000 (based on experience).
