Location: Dallas, TX

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 Base ($140,000 - $175,000 OTE)

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, and resilient Business Development Team Lead to join our Dallas office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the front, and is passionate about developing high-performing teams.


As a Team Lead, you will play a critical role in driving pipeline generation, mentoring and coaching Business Development Representatives, and partnering closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to execute scalable outbound strategies. This is a player-coach role, combining individual contribution with team leadership and development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Representatives to consistently exceed pipeline and activity targets
  • Drive outbound prospecting efforts across target industries through phone, email, and social outreach
  • Lead by example by generating qualified opportunities and building strategic pipeline
  • Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs, providing regular coaching, feedback, and development plans
  • Conduct call reviews, training sessions, and onboarding for new team members
  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure high-quality opportunity handover and pipeline progression
  • Analyse team performance data, identify trends, and implement process improvements
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM hygiene across the team
  • Help build a high-performance, competitive, and collaborative sales culture


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Business Development, SDR, or BDR roles within SaaS, AI, Cyber, or technology sales
  • Previous experience mentoring, coaching, or leading high-performing sales teams
  • A strong track record of consistently exceeding pipeline generation or revenue targets
  • Natural leadership ability with a hands-on, lead-from-the-front mentality
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to engage senior decision-makers
  • Highly organised, data-driven, and comfortable working with CRM and sales analytics tools
  • Resilient, competitive, and motivated by building both personal and team success
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment is highly desirable

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
