What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Medical Facility Housekeeper position at Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes?
The Lead Medical Housekeeper is a full-time position, with the responsibility of maintaining a safe and sanitary environment using certain specialized knowledge throughout the medical facility. Full working Level Skilled and Semi-Skilled Custodians. The duties are as follows: Develops a schedule of duties on the advice of the medical Advisor, Clinical Staff Manager, and Facilities Support Division Manager. Manually track Housekeeper's time and attendance and reports to FSDM for approval. Responsible for equipment and cleaning supplies. Address cleaning issues from staff in house. Training new and current staff. Coordinate Facilities Maintenance issues with THD FSDM.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1-year work experience related to medical housekeeping duties. Familiar with the storage, handling and disposal of medical waste, solid waste and linen. Must have or receive certification as a healthcare environmental professional with specialized training in environmental sanitation, reporting and documentation, infection control within 6 months of hire. Must possess a valid driver's license.
