Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the complete sales administration workflow, including the creation of detailed quotes, bids, sales order entry, invoicing, and active backlog management.
- Maintain and grow strong, professional relationships with key customers across the aerospace, defense, and medical industries, serving as the central point of contact for account health and order status.
- Conduct thorough and meticulous Contract Review on all incoming orders to ensure strict compliance with customer specifications, quality requirements, and internal procedures.
- Directly lead, train, and support the Inside Sales Administrator, ensuring the team provides accurate, professional, and timely customer service.
- Monitor profit margins by product line and collaborate closely with the Director on establishing final sales prices and negotiating delivery schedules for major contracts.
- Compile and analyze historical sales data to maintain accurate sales forecasts and inform internal departments (like production and inventory) of changes in customer usage and requirements.
- Coordinate shipping and delivery processes, oversee invoicing, and assist the finance team with the collection of late receivables.
- Coordinate with the internal repair and production teams to provide timely and accurate updates and feedback to customers regarding the status of repaired or monitored products.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in inside sales or contract management
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing preferred
- Understanding of aerospace standards such as AS9100, ITAR, or DFARS
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Navision, Redzone) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
- $80,000 – $95,000 Annual Bonus.
