A well-established, multi-vertical media and content company is seeking a CFO to partner closely with the President and executive team.
The business operates across multiple content-driven revenue streams. The company is at an important inflection point, with opportunities to improve financial performance, invest in growth areas, and position the business for long-term strategic outcomes.

The Role
Reporting directly to the President, the CFO will serve as the top financial leader, responsible for financial strategy, operational rigor, and executive decision support.
This role requires someone who will challenge assumptions, and drive accountability — not just report results.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the President and leadership team, providing clear financial insights and recommendations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across multiple business lines
- Drive improved financial discipline, including cost management, profitability analysis, and compensation alignment
- Oversee accounting, reporting, audit, and internal controls
- Lead and develop a strong existing finance and accounting team
- Establish KPIs, reporting frameworks, and performance accountability across the organization
- Support strategic initiatives, including potential transactions or partnerships
- Evaluate and prioritize investments across business segments
- Bring structure and rigor to financial decision-making in a fast-paced environment

Ideal Candidate Profile
Must Have
- Experience in media, entertainment, content, branding, or advertising-related industries
- Strong understanding of content-driven business models (TV/film, production, or similar)
- Prior experience as a #1 finance leader (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to operate as both a strategic and operational leader
- Track record of driving accountability and influencing senior leadership
