Role Title: Java Backend Developer

Overview

We are seeking a Java Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and SQL to support ongoing application development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts. This role involves hands-on development, problem-solving, and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 2 to 4 years of experience with Java, J2EE, and SQL.
• Background in developing web applications.
• Familiarity with agile delivery practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Solid problem-solving ability, including the capability to conduct in-depth research when needed.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot web applications and batch processes.
• Write and optimize SQL queries within Oracle databases to ensure performance and reliability.
• Utilize Jira and Bitbucket for task tracking and version control.
• Perform root cause analysis and research new technologies to recommend effective solutions.
• Support a variety of research and development tasks as project needs evolve.
