Flexible schedule that is different every week. You can request up to 3 shifts that work for you in a 4-week schedule that can help with appointments, days off, etc. Operating room is collaborative team of surgeons, anesthesia, technologists, and registered nurses. One to one patient ratio. Numerous specialties including robotics, cardiovascular, orthopedics, plastics, OB-GYNE, neuro, urology, and trauma. All employees are expected to be proficient in each specialty; however, you will be in the specialty you prefer most of the time after orientation. Huge perk is getting to know the surgeons here and being able to request them to care for family members etc.
How you’ll contribute
A Central Sterile Technician t - Operating Room who excels in this role:
Assist with decontamination, cleaning and sterilization for all surgical trays according to AORN, OSHA and AAMI and IAHCSMM Standards.
Assists with regulatory documentation regarding sterilization (includes sterilizers and instruments)
Possesses knowledge regarding the proper handling and caring of surgical instruments.

What we’re looking for
High school diploma or equivalent.
Currently enrolled in a Program for Surgical Technologists.
