Summary/Objective​

The Ware​house Manager oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. This role is responsible for managing staff, optimizin​g warehouse space, maintaining accurate inventory control, supporting smooth supply chain flow, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Essential Functions

Manager Operations is responsible for directing all warehouse and distribution operations for a shift(s) to ensure timely, accurate and secure shipping and distribution of product to our customers.

• Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing and shipping to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and loss prevention practices to ensure data accuracy and availability. 
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Set, prepare, and present KPIs
• Proficient giving project presentations to senior management
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, transport companies and other Conectiv site management
• Full ownership of safety, quality, productivi​ty, and customer experience in the department
• Strategic planning and forecasting, performance assessments, complex problem solving, labor balancing, and daily/weekly/monthly staffing determination
• Produce reports and statistics
• Recruit, select, orientate, and motivate employees
• Mentor, train, and develop Leads and Supervisors for career progression
• Develop and share best practices across the shifts and network
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.
• Must be available to adjust work hours as necessary to meet business demands and customer requirements
• This role monitors stock levels, conducts audits, and coordinates with procurement and logistics to ensure materials are available when needed

 ​Required Education and Experience

 HS Diploma/GED    AA/AS         BA/BS      MBA/MS      PHD

or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum 5-year experience in warehouse/shipping facility and 2-years in a leadership role

• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Excellent communication skills
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and systems
• Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders

Supervisory Responsibility

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment

• This job operates in a warehouse floor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and filing cabinets.
