About the Role:
The Supervisor FLD Returns plays a critical leadership role in managing and overseeing the field returns process within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that all returned products are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments including logistics, quality assurance, and customer service to streamline return workflows and resolve any issues promptly. The Supervisor will lead a team, providing guidance, training, and performance management to maintain high operational standards. Ultimately, this role aims to optimize the returns process to minimize costs, improve customer satisfaction, and support overall business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in returns management, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supervising or leading a team in an operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of returns processing, inventory management, and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using warehouse management or returns processing software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or retail environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to product returns and disposal.
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the field returns team to ensure timely and accurate processing of returned products.
- Develop and implement procedures and best practices to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the returns process.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as logistics, quality control, and customer service to resolve return-related issues and enhance customer experience.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to foster a productive and motivated work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards related to product returns and handling.
- Manage inventory reconciliation and documentation associated with returned goods to maintain accurate records.
