On Premise Account Manager Ocala

Responsibilities/Expectations

  • Must be able to report to work by 8AM at the latest depending on the route schedule and work until the entire route is serviced.
  • Participate in weekend activities as scheduled; find a replacement if you cannot attend your assigned event.
  • Ability to lift 25- 30 lbs. packaged beer and 160 lbs. kegs
  • Knowledge of the brewing industry.
  • Strategic planning skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • SKU management skills at the retail store level.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to develop effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to interact and negotiate with all levels within Cone Distributing, retail establishments and our suppliers.
  • Work alongside and communicate daily with Delivery Sales counterpart.
  • Properly stock coolers, back stock, shelves & all other selling areas to capacity.
  • Maintain proper rotation standards on an ongoing basis, including service coolers and deep wells.
  • Must possess the ability and maintain Cone Distributing Retail Call and merchandising standards.
  • The ability to learn and work in route accounting software.
  • Must have the capability of accurately counting and entering in account inventories and the aptitude to interpret inventory numbers to produce an accurate sales forecast. Must meet or exceed monthly company average of inventory levels.
  • Must be able to understand and sell the entire portfolio, beer, wine, spirits, and nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Work with Red Bull counter parts to ensure execution against volume, distribution and merchandising standards
  • Must be able to become Beer Server certified within a preset time to be determined by the On-Premise Sales Manager.
  • Sales and marketing program implementation.
  • Ensure our Quality Assurance Policy is understood and adhered to each month.
  • Code date systems must be thoroughly understood and strictly followed.
  • Adhere to the Retail Look/ 10 Second Look policy.
  • Ensure all paper and permanent Point of Sale is used in the proper manner and quantity.
  • Assist with other tasks as appropriate and/or necessary, such as hot shots, deliveries, the hanging of POS, etc.
  • Meet or exceed to monthly company average of all Monthly Business Objectives.
  • Be aware of all competitive activity and opportunities to increase sales in your accounts.
  • Request competitors’ space for new placements/draft handles or for expanding your existing placements.
  • Attend and conduct On-Premise samplings and promotions with-in your assigned account base.
  • Manage expenses within all assigned budgets.
  • Advise and train the retailers and their employees in the proper methods of selling, merchandising, and pricing of the products you supply to them.
  • At sales meeting, share information with other employees that will benefit the company.
  • Ensure all orders available for downloading by the assigned times.
  • The ability to use Smart Phones, I Pads, or other similar electronic devices in the performance of job duties.
  • Properly maintain, operate, protect from damage, and return all equipment that has been issued to you (i.e. phones, handhelds, vehicles, etc.)
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the sale and merchandising of malt beverages.
  • Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
  • Dress and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.
  • Report all accidents and injuries to the On-Premise Mgr.
  • Attend all staff, monthly sales meetings as scheduled.
  • Follow safety rules and in the use of equipment daily.
  • Good math skills.
  • Maintain a safe driving record. Report any driving related issues to HR immediately.
  • Able to pass drug and background check..
  • Must participate, communicate, and interact with Team Members, Vendors and Customers in a manner that will consistently enhance all Team Cone Core Values.
Qualifications:

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-year degree preferred.  Will consider experience in the field education
