Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Decorative Concrete Coatings Installer to join our installations team. This role involves applying decorative coatings to concrete surfaces (stamped concrete, cool deck, polished, stain, etc.), enhancing aesthetic appeal and durability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, attention to detail and related trades, with the ability to work on various projects including residential, commercial, and restoration sites. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing a wide range of tools and techniques, contributing to high-quality finishes that meet client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and ensuring proper adhesion for coatings
- Apply decorative concrete coatings using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail
- Mix concrete and coating materials according to manufacturer instructions
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, texturing, and sealing surfaces
- Operate heavy equipment such as push grinders or mixers safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related fields such as concrete finishing, masonry, carpentry, or restoration projects
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with concrete coating estimating processes is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (55 pounds) and work at heights or in confined spaces as required by project scope
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and site protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing complex projects
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site access as needed
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions on different job sites
