Concrete Finisher - Non Union (2+ Yr Exp Req)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Must be able to safely operate power hand tools, power saws and drills.
• Must be safety conscious at all times. Must observe and comply with all safety policies and procedures/guidelines
• Measure, cut and set forms to proper elevations and locations for concrete floors, slabs, stairways, walls, columns, sidewalks, curbs and more
• Concrete Placement and Finish using concrete finishing tools
• Grind, sack and patch holes/rough areas in concrete walls using a grinder or chisel and hammer and using epoxy compound to fill holes when needed
• Place and tie rebar when needed
• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints preferred and ability to follow field instructions
• Ensure equipment/tools are in safe working condition at all times
• Must be able to work within precise standards of accuracy.
• Must follow oral and written directions.
• Able to shift tasks and/or locations as instructed
• Laborer duties including clean up from placement and finishing of concrete when needed.
• Work varying shifts including overtime

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Concrete Finisher
• Current and valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Ability to measure, cut and set forms
• Knowledge and experience with setting screed, power trowel machine, hand trowels, bull floats, hand floats, muck rake, sliders, brushes, hammer, wheelbarrow, small tools, level, tape measure, sprayer, small equipment and their safety practices
• The ability to speak English
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be dependable
• Non Union

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift and pull up in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stand, walk, stoop, crouch, crawl, balance, stretch, climb ladders/equipment
• Able to work in a variety of weather conditions, i.e. hot, cold, wet conditions
• Able to work around dust, fumes from equipment and loud noises

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
