The College of Education at Concordia University, St. Paul prepares exceptional teachers and educational leaders grounded in a Lutheran liberal arts tradition of lifelong learning, service, and care for a diverse and global community.
We’re seeking Contracted Faculty of Practice to serve as University Supervisors for field experiences and student teaching across programs in Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary Education, and ESL.
This flexible, part-time role is perfect for passionate educators who want to stay engaged in teacher preparation without the demands of a full-time schedule. Observations can be completed virtually, offering you the freedom to mentor future teachers from anywhere — at times that fit your life.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Commitment to Christian higher education, Concordia’s mission, and our Lutheran identity
- Master’s degree in Education or a closely related field
- Five or more years of exemplary teaching experience
- Current Minnesota teaching license at the level of supervision
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfort and skill in technology-mediated environments
Preferred:
- Experience teaching or supervising in higher education
