General Summary

The Technology Administrator – Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is responsible for the configuration, administration, optimization, and ongoing support of the organization’s CRM related systems and services including but not limited to the Salesforce suite of solutions.

This role ensures process efficiency, system stability, data integrity, security, and alignment with business needs through effective solution and system design, automation, testing, and collaboration across departments.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform comprehensive management of the Salesforce suite and related system configuration, including system configuration, design, setup, customization, and data migration activities.
  • Provide daily management and maintenance of the Cases Ticketing application, including user support and overall system administration.
  • Maintain system configurations, data integrity, and adherence to all system-related policies and procedures.
  • In accordance with established change management standards, analyze complex business processes and assess how Salesforce functionality can be leveraged to provide effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, review scenarios, make recommendations and deliver tailored system solutions.
  • Perform functional testing and coordinate system rollouts, including customizations, workflows, custom objects, new enhancements, application releases, and system integrations.
  • Manage and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, ensuring solutions meet business requirements prior to deployment.
  • Maintain sandbox environments and assist with migration activities, including change sets and deployment processes.
  • Design and implement system automations using Salesforce Flow and other tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Create and manage custom fields, forms, records, lists, workflows, and related configurations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor appropriate system permissions and access for users and roles.
  • Manage user and license administration, including user setup, role assignments, permissions, and compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Conduct regular system audits, manage duplicate records, and implement data quality best practices to ensure accuracy and reliability of system data.
  • Build, run, distribute, and support dashboards, searches, and operational reports that provide meaningful insights to support business decisions across teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver accurate, timely data solutions.
  • Monitor Salesforce upgrades and releases, evaluate the impact on processes and configurations, and recommend enhancements to optimize platform performance.
  • Stay current on CRM related systems and services including but not limited to the Salesforce suite of solutions best practices, features, and emerging tools to continuously improve system capabilities.
  • Perform other system administration duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Education And Experience

  • 5 Years experience as a CRM Administrator or Systems Administrator preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, automation tools (Flow), security model, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
