Medical Marketing Rep: Beaver County & surrounding areas
The Medical Marketing Representative is responsible for increasing the referral base in an appointed territory by selling Concordia Visiting Nurses’ services to referral sources such as physicians, social workers, case managers, assisted and independent living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, clinics, adult day centers, and the community. Their main responsibility is sales and marketing. The Medical Marketing Representative will:
- Develop new referral sources and provide strategies for acquiring relationships to provide home health services within the marketplace.
- Develop and implement an approved account specific strategic business plans/account targets/service delivery models, and coordinate activities with Marketing Director and other Agency senior management to ensure the provision of high-quality healthcare services.
- Formulate and implement client specific policies, procedures and systems, direct ongoing research activities, perform impact analyses of internal and external market forces, prepare reports on findings, and recommend strategic initiatives to maintain and improve the Agency’s market position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field.
- A minimum of three [3] to five [5] years of healthcare marketing experience is required.
- Must have a minimum of two [2] years of marketing/sales experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Prior home healthcare and/or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Reliable, independent means of transportation. Must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with current, valid personal automobile insurance coverage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Medical Marketing Representative’s main responsibility will be to increase the Agency’s referral base in an appointed territory by promoting Concordia Visiting Nurses services to physicians, social workers, case managers, assisted and independent living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, clinics, adult day centers and to the community. Achieves sales revenue goals through:
- Presenting features and benefits of Concordia Visiting Nurses products and services to physicians, patients, hospitals, and the community.
- Developing relationships with key decision-makers and industry key opinion leaders.
- Using customer educational programs, pathways and physician portals.
- Knowledge and utilization of Agency’s business and clinical data.
- Preparing and conducting regular and timely business reviews.
- Effectively communicating with physicians and customers.
- Capturing necessary and required prospect information
- Capturing and maintaining customer profile data.
- Assisting in collecting paperwork (referral forms and other necessary patient data) from physicians’ offices.
- Maintaining sales call data by entering designated contact relationship management (CRM) system.
- Driving and promoting “Concordia’s Continuum of Care” message to physicians, administrators, and discharge planners.
- Assisting with leading coordination efforts with the Director for overall account management and territory development.
- Organizing and conducting regular and timely business reviews with customers.
- Coordinating and participating in conventions, vendor fairs, in-services, etc.
- Collaborating with other care settings to provide continuity of care.
- Providing plan of action to the Director on a monthly basis.
- Utilizing excellent communication skills.
- Maintaining professional image with all staff and customers.
- Prioritizing areas of focus.
- Maintaining knowledge of home healthcare rules, regulations and new trends in the homecare industry.
- Maintaining contact with referral sources to solve any issues that may arise.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
