We are seeking a full-time Medical Product Development Coordinator for our Tiffin, OH location. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with hands-on healthcare, clinical, or medical product experience who understands how products are used in real-world care settings. The Medical Product Development Coordinator supports the evaluation, development, and commercialization of new and existing products within Concordance Healthcare Solutions’ portfolio. This role combines medical product expertise, market insight, and operational execution to ensure products meet customer needs, regulatory standards, and strategic business objectives. Working closely with Marketing, Sourcing, Sales, Supplier Relations, and cross-functional teams, this position plays a critical role in driving private-label and portfolio growth initiatives from concept through launch.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in product design, packaging artwork, labeling, and documentation to ensure compliance, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain technical specifications, Instructions for Use (IFUs), regulatory documentation, and product validation materials.
- Support Product Approval Team (PAT) processes to facilitate timely and successful product launches.
- Evaluate substitute products, identify cross-reference opportunities, and support product conversions to improve availability and portfolio performance.
- Apply healthcare or clinical product knowledge to assess product usability, functionality, and customer applicability.
- Support Sales and Marketing teams through product education, training, and technical guidance.
- Conduct product performance analysis, utilization tracking, competitive benchmarking, and category assessments.
- Provide data-driven insights, ROI analysis, and strategic recommendations to support sourcing, product, and sales initiatives.
- Deliver professional presentations and product education to internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Serve as a liaison between Marketing, Sourcing, Supplier Relations, and vendor partners to ensure project alignment and execution.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify category expansion, private-label opportunities, and process improvements.
- Ensure timely completion of product development milestones and commercialization objectives.
- Support private-label growth through product innovation, compliance, and strategic category development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Timely completion of product development, approval, and launch milestones.
- Accuracy and compliance of product artwork, labeling, and IFU documentation.
- Successful execution of substitute product and cross-reference initiatives.
- Sales and stakeholder satisfaction with product support, training, and analytics.
- Contribution to private-label (HCS) portfolio growth and category expansion.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Clinical/Health Sciences, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on clinical, healthcare, or medical product experience required.
- 2–4 years of experience in product development, sourcing, healthcare distribution, or medical product support preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical products, healthcare environments, and product application.
- Familiarity with FDA, AAMI, and other applicable healthcare regulatory standards preferred.
- Experience with packaging, labeling, artwork review, or product documentation strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Data-driven mindset with experience translating analytics into business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clinical, technical, supplier, and commercial stakeholders.
- Presentation, training, and product education experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data visualization/reporting tools.
- Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment (post-offer) background check and drug screening.

- With the possibility of a work from home hybrid model (in office part of the week and remote part of the week).
