Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medical Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with varying needs, helping them achieve their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include arranging medical care for residents, medication administration oversight, coordination of care for residents, prompts for ADLs, and fostering a supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.
Qualifications
- No medical degree required, but familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.
- CPR is required; company will provide if needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, their families, and medical personnel.
- A caring attitude with a commitment to enhancing the lives of those you support.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs, including weekends and on-call hours.
- Must be able to pass a background test and drug screening.
32 hours per week, primarily day-time hours, with opportunity to cross train for additional hours. Will be on call every other weekend and some week hours.
