Concord School, serving children in Pre-K through Grade 8, seeks a 1.0 FTE Administrative Assistant. The school maintains dedicated faculty, personalized beliefs about success for all children, and a caring and safe school culture. We seek a creative, detail oriented, technologically versatile, administrative assistant who can provide administrative support and clerical needs. This position supports our entire educational team – including the principal, teachers and central office.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for financial & student information systems management, multiple school calendars and schedules, scheduling and organizing school-wide events, data entry and correspondence. Public interaction with all of our constituents (students and families, central office, substitutes, teachers, volunteers, board members, etc.) is essential along with a positive demeanor and efficiency. Candidates must be experienced and adept with multiple platforms including: Powerschool, Google Suite, Microsoft Office software, Zoom, social media, webpage update and design, project management, and receptionist duties including phone and e-mail. The pay range for this position is currently $18.45/hr-$25.27/hr.

The Concord School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in Northeastern Vermont. We operate seven graded schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have “choice” and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choice.
